Sean Byrne and Jerry Canaan are pleased to announce an exciting new chapter for Byrne Legal Group. Effective May 1, 2021, Byrne Legal Group will become Byrne Canaan Law.
he new firm name reflects Sean and Jerry’s long-standing partnership and experience in defending health care providers. Sean and Jerry have worked together for 17 years and have more than 50 years’ combined experience in complex civil, administrative, and regulatory health law. The firm will continue to focus on defending health care providers in malpractice litigation, appeals, government investigations, criminal matters, licensing matters, regulatory investigations, and administrative hearings.
n addition to its new name, the firm is moving to a new office space in Richmond’s Scott’s Addition neighborhood on May 1, 2021.
Since 2019, Sean and Jerry have formed a team of ten highly skilled litigators including several former prosecutors as well as past federal and state judicial clerks. The entire team is committed to achieving excellent litigation results and delivering outstanding client service.
