Congratulations to Tony Cottone and Michael Millstein who secured a defense verdict on April 18, 2025 in Henrico Circuit Court. The plaintiff had filed a personal injury lawsuit seeking $1 million in damages alleging that certain gynecologic procedures were not indicated or properly performed, causing her injury including hysterectomy. After five days of trial including defense expert witness testimony from two gynecologists and a psychiatrist, the jury deliberated for less than ninety minutes before returning a unanimous verdict in favor of the defendant physician.
