
Nicholas Stoll is an associate attorney whose practice focuses on representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, and healthcare organizations in medical malpractice litigation throughout Virginia’s state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Byrne Canaan in his home state of Virginia, Nicholas began practicing law in the Las Vegas office of a national trial defense firm, where he defended healthcare providers and medical institutions in professional negligence actions, clerked for a Chicago personal injury law firm, and completed a Judicial Externship with Justice Howse in the Illinois Appellate Court, First Division.
Nicholas received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Studies from Niagara University, where he swam distance freestyle for the Division I Men’s Swim Team. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, graduating with honors, earning certificates in Health Law and Compliance Studies, and receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Pre-Trial Litigation: Personal Injury Cases.
Outside of work, Nicholas’s favorite hobbies include swimming, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
