Firm Administrator / Paralegal
Nicole Larsh supports Byrne Canaan Law as Firm Administrator and as a Litigation Paralegal. A native of Pennsylvania, Nicole graduated from Dickinson College and began her career as a paralegal in Sydney, Australia working in media law. Upon her return to the US, she focused on workers’ compensation litigation in North Carolina, before moving to Virginia and transitioning into health law defense. Nicole brings over 20 years of of experience as a litigation paralegal to the firm.
Her finely tuned organizational and case management skills, and vast experience working with specialized attorneys, make Nicole uniquely skilled at assisting health care providers facing litigation. She is especially talented at developing training programs and best practice procedures to ensure smooth work flow and excellent client service. Nicole enjoys the fast-paced nature of litigation and collaborating with clients and attorneys throughout the process from investigation to trial.
Nicole is an accomplished equestrian and horseback riding instructor and volunteers her time teaching horsemanship and riding skills to adults and children enrolled in therapeutic riding programs. She also advocates for greyhound rescue and supports various ocean conservation efforts. In her free time, Nicole loves scuba diving around the world with her husband, visiting with family, and pampering her pack of rescue dogs.
