Nurse Paralegal
Amanda J. Atkinson supports Byrne Canaan Law as a Nurse Paralegal. She is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She also has a Paralegal Certificate she obtained from University of Richmond. Amanda has been a nurse for over 25 years. She transitioned from clinical nursing, where she served as a neonatal nurse and clinical educator for women’s and children's services, to the the nurse paralegal position over 17 years ago.
Amanda is a wife and mother of two boys. When not transporting her boys from sports practices and activities, she enjoys assisting her church’s youth band, youth group, and volunteering in her boys’ schools.
