Attorney
Allie devotes her practice to defending medical professionals and organizations in malpractice disputes across Virginia. Allie is involved in every step of the litigation process, including answering the initial complaint, managing discovery, negotiating settlement, and conducting trial. Allie realizes the importance of supporting healthcare workers, which motivates her to achieve the best possible results for her clients. Allie leverages her extensive legal knowledge, strong communication, and tireless advocacy to alleviate the stress caused by malpractice actions. In Allie’s words, “healthcare professionals should be able to keep their focus on keeping our community healthy. Through my efforts, I hope to help them do just that.”
Before joining Byrne Canaan Law, Allie represented insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation actions. In this role, Allie gained valuable skills and experience that prepared her for the fast paced and complex world of medical malpractice defense. Additionally, Allie developed broad knowledge and insight into Virginia’s judicial system as a judicial law clerk in Roanoke, Virginia.
Allie has been recognized as Legal Elite in Virginia Business Magazine in the category of Young Lawyers in 2021 and 2022, and as a 2023 Super Lawyer.
When Allie is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring Richmond’s restaurant scene, and long distance running.
